Parcel Risk Report ("we," "us") helps anyone understand the natural hazards that affect a California property. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it — whether you run a free address check, buy a hazard report, or order the statutory disclosure as a professional.

What we collect

• When you run a free check — the address you enter, plus standard technical data like your IP address and timestamps. No account or email is required.
• When you buy a report — your email address, so we can deliver the report and a receipt. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• If you create an account (for example, inspectors or agents ordering the statutory disclosure) — your name and email, and, if you choose to put your own brand on reports, your company name, license number, and logo.
• Addresses and reports — the properties you check and the reports we generate for you.
• Messages — anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
• Technical data — standard request and usage logs, kept for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To run your check and to generate, deliver, and (if you ask) brand your reports.
• To process payments and, for accounts, to track your report credits.
• To answer your questions and improve the service.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share data only as needed with the providers that run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and email delivery), Google (optional sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Google Gemini (writing the plain-English narrative). Hazard findings come from public-agency sources — FEMA, CAL FIRE, USGS, NOAA, EPA, the U.S. Census Bureau, and Cal OES/DWR. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep records as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. If you buy a one-off report without an account, we delete the email address tied to that purchase after about 90 days. You can ask us to delete your account or personal information at any time, though some records may be kept where the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see or delete your personal information, and California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Just contact us and we'll help.
