Terms of Service

Last updated June 2, 2026.

These terms apply to everyone who uses Parcel Risk Report — whether you run a free check, buy a hazard report, or order the statutory disclosure as a professional. By using the service, you agree to them.

What we offer

Parcel Risk Report helps you understand the natural hazards affecting a California property. We offer:

Every finding draws on official public-agency data — FEMA, CAL FIRE, USGS, NOAA, EPA, the U.S. Census Bureau, and Cal OES/DWR.

What these reports are — and aren't

Payment

The free check is free. Paid reports are purchased online (professionals can also buy report credits). Card payments are handled by Stripe. If we can't generate a report you paid for, we refund it automatically. Prices are shown before you pay and may change going forward. You're responsible for the accuracy of the addresses you submit (and, if you brand reports, for your own branding content).

Acceptable use

Please use the service only for lawful purposes. Don't misrepresent the source or nature of the reports, don't resell the underlying government data in violation of its terms, and don't try to disrupt the service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parcel Risk Report's total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report(s) involved (which is $0 for the free check). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
